Up until last year (IIRC) Tanzania was also included on that list. However once Comair, British Airways' affiliate in South Africa, started flying JNB-DAR-JNB, Tanzania was removed from the list since it was no longer a dead-end; you could go LHR-DAR-JNB-HKG/SYD etc.

Gardyloo. I was wondering what happened when I saw the list in the new rules. Personally, I long for the old days when the BA ticketing people in MRU ignored (or didn't know) the rules, and transiting LHR twice was no problem regardless of the Africa destination. Oh, and the cost of transiting LHR then was much less, too!!
