After flying a dozen times in China I got my first kosher meal actually served to me. The flight was from Hong Kong. At first the airline told me HK airport does not have any kosher meals (the same excuse they use in every airport in China including Shanghai) but then I pushed them again for it. I got served a long life Stogel meal.
Which at last made me realize what market's Stogel competitively excels in. I got a (really old) quater chicken as part of my meal. The non-kosher meals had small chicken scraps. My Stogel meal was the envy of all the Chinese on the flight. Plus, Stogel's fancy box look nicer than the Chinese airline's fancy box meal.
