While Southwest hasn't had any major air incidents I'm sure they were heavily fined for not doing a lot of required maintenance on their planes, that can't be safe.
I won't fly on AF, they had the crash at YYZ, the mid ATL crash and they were the only airline to crash the world safest plane (concord).
Toronto was pilot error and from what the early reports are saying about the ATL crash seems like pilot error again.
The fact that ac is not in there may be because they did the study accidents per flight or miles, and these airlines are bigger then AC/WJ/PD etc.
Would I say Id never fly AF? no, would I fly AC over AF anyday? Yes!
