But why couldn't they get the letter right in the first place? Its just bad comms and they shouldn't need to have to damage control a simple message. (incidentally, another case of bad comms is telling Gold Elites there will be an important update on benefits in July and completely missing that deadline)
Why not just take the "Heads up" in the spirit that it is given. Of course it says "members and guests" because if it just said guests and a member was not given access then that guest would rightly be even more annoyed.
It's only bad comms in your opinion because you infered a meaning to it that could only mean bad news.
I thought it was good comms because Airnz were warning me in advance of the possibility of bad news.
