I think that the problem stems from those who don't like people in the front reclining.. when they themselves possess the right to recline to compensate for the reclining in front of them..

If we all have equal rights.. then the argument would be why the person behind the person who reclines would have double rights by saying something about the person in front reclining.. if that makes sense..
