All good ideas especially about going MEL-SIN-HKG-BKK-LHR, as I could pick up an AY flight HKG/BKK.

Except that it does away with my desire to catch a CX F segment, and to try out the Wing and Pier.

Oh well simple things for one FF.

Maybe it is just worth the extra day's holiday and to just do a SIN-BKK-HKG run and have the day in HKG and catch the F flight out.
