As others pointed out, it's unfortunate that the FA was not friendlier or more accommodating regarding your request but you did have other options that you chose not to exercise: 1) ask passengers around you. 2) Get out of your seat, go to the galley and ask for aspirin. If the post 9/11 world has taught us anything, is that we need to take responsibility for getting things accomplished in airports and on airplanes. It's sucks, but it's the new reality. I think that those who are able to adapt to it, are the ones who are happier travellers.
Let me clarify, its not about getting the aspirin, its about the attitude of the FA that I complained about...Wow, sure looks like it might have done me a whole deal of good to keep my bloody mouth shut than even vent here...
