I was fairly close to the mark, just too many transfers. Basically:
  • Only 6 transfers allowed
  • Open jaw is an option eg SIN-HEL-LHR//SomewhereElseOver1000miles-HEL-JFK, buy a 1 way cheapie
  • Can't do LAX-MEL-BNE, so use LAX-SYD-BNE
  • Very good cancellation - only A$125
  • Maybe LAX-TYO(NRT)-BNE, but didn't look into it, on the surface doesn't work

Yes, og, another good SCs/$ equation methinks...
