I'm travelling to JFK like a lowly serf in Y in a couple of weeks, and MMB is offering me a decent choice of seats for the outbound leg.

Bulkhead seats in row 33, the mini forward cabin, are available, but SeatGuru suggests that the legroom is limited in this row. Can someone give another opinion on this?

I'm currently holding on to 39K, which appears to be a bulkhead row all on its own at the front of the second cabin, with much more legroom. Again, any thoughts on this?

The only seats blocked out presently are row 40, which is most of the bulkhead seats in the second economy cabin. How do these compare to row 33, and is it worth paying extra to book them at T-14?

This is the outward leg so it's not as concerning for me as when I try and get a decent seat on the redeye coming back, so I'd be very grateful for any and all thoughts on this. Thanks!
