How about these questions:
-If I fly AA out of ATL, will I be able to use the TT lane if I enter in my CBP TT number? (I don't think so)
Nope. During the test phase, only if flying DL.

-My wife who is a TT but not elite made a reservation through Travelocity Business for a business trip. She wasn't able to enter a TT number into the system. If you go on AA.com, there's a blank for redress number but not TT number. Again, if she flies ex-ATL, will she be able to use the TT lane?
I think the IT systems have not been updated to allow for entering a TT number. Just be patient; it will come.

-I am a zero on DL. However, I just purchased tickets ATL-MCO. I was able to enter my TT number into DL's system... it's next to the redress number on their information screen. Are non-PLT+ AA members seeing the same screen?
Nope. DL's web programmers must be ahead of AA's.

-What about my kids??? I've heard conflicting information. Specifically, since young kids can't be members of GE, they aren't TT's... so regardless of my situation, my kids make me "untrustworthy". But aren't kids considered to be the lowest risk group for terrorism?
Actually, the main reason why young children currently cannot be Trusted Travelers is because they are not old enough to have a sufficient "record" for the federal background check. In other words, the government does not know enough about them to be able to assess their eligibility for the program, because in most cases young children have not held steady employment, had property in their name, paid taxes, had activity on their SSN, etc. Also, in many cases criminal records are expunged for minors following completion of certain terms, so a background check might not reveal past violations/felonies that could be grounds for denial. IMHO, these are the reasons why young kids cannot be members.
