While I agree that this is not the trendiest or most luxurious Le Meridien in the world, I have stayed there many times over the years and find it a great bargain, both rate wise and point-burn wise. I'm always well-treated and upgraded to a well-appointed, rambling suite (even if I'm staying on cash & points). IMHO, a dump it is not.
