Just happened to me. During my visit to Europe, I visited a friend's farm in Bavaria -- just for one day. On the card, I wrote "visited farm only one day" next to the check mark. The immigration officer wrote a huge "A" on the card. When the customs person collected the card, just said thank you.

So was honest and nothing happened. At Dulles.
