Happened to check rimowa salsa air prices yesterday in London @ Selfridge's.
GBP425 for 77 size and after VAT refund of about 10% = EUR450 there about....sounds like a good deal def cheaper than singapore where i live.....

but after reading your valuable posting - sounds like rimowa is not that great (broken wheels, battered body after a few trips...etc...) - so i am also considering samsonite cubelite (larger wheels, double handle).

any takes on the samsonite option? also is samsonite cheaper in asia or europe? i actually haven't even shopped around in my own country
