FOLLOW-UP QUESTION: I'm planning to ask for an upgrade bonus from green to PRG. Long shot, I know, but what's better odds, asking over the phone or by secure message?
According to The Points Guy, the best way to upgrade your card is to log out of your AMEX account and apply through the link, this entitles you to the 15k bonus and no fee for the first year. After being approved call AMEX and ask that your Green Account# be linked to the PRG. And then ask about the 75k bump (Platinum was 100K). I'm not sure if they're still honoring the bump though.
