And my point is that UA was a "1K? You rock. You're lucky we let you fly, 1P/2P..." airline when it came to some aspects of MP. CO's was better at giving everyone a little something. So, access to exit rows for someone flying 40,000 miles a year? Having them get charged less fees in the post-merger world? Might they not be thinking things are as "ruined" as you?



You forgot award change fees when the origin/destination/dates stay the same. You know, the $150 fee UA used to charge anyone who wasn't a 1K. But I am sure they had a good reason for it, right? I mean. it's certainly not possible that UA wasn't the land of milk and honey before the evil Smisek showed up? I am sure 1Ps were thrilled to have to shell out $150 to eliminate stops or make better connections on awards.

No, nothing that has happened to MP could have possibly ever been positive since the merger. Ever. That is a scientific fact. And every fee MP charged pre-merger to elites that was imposed over the last decade was simply because they loved them, and wanted to rid them of some of their useless money.
