What, BA are too busy to do that? Didn't they prepare for this? Didn't they know there was a hurricane coming? Didn't they realize they would have lots of passengers to rebook? What's that, it would cost too much money to bring in extra people, put in extra phone lines, lay on extra flights? Isn't that what insurance is for????

I really don't understand why people who are capable of taking complex decisions in everyday life, are unable to engage the brain a little when it comes to air travel, and expect everything to mothered and have everything done for them by the airline.

It was clear on Wednesday that there would be MAJOR disruption to travel over the weekend. A simple call to BA BEFORE the weekend would have allowed them to switch onto an earlier flight or a flight after the weekend.

In your words... What? People are too busy to do that? Didn't they prepare for this? Didn't they know there was a hurricane coming? Didn't they realize the airlines would have lots of passengers to rebook? What's that, it would take too much effort to think, to plan ahead, to make a few phone calls????
