I wouldnt consider myself as having a low tolerance level by FT standard, I cant even accept the rooms at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit which is much loved by many here. Similarly, I found the decor here to be better than the almost brand new Le Meridien Chiang Rai.

Sure the LM Jakarta is hardly a luxury hotel, but the numerous times I have stayed there I was more than satisfied with the quality of room (or to be more precise, suite) and service level.

For those who called this place a dump, how many times have you stayed there and in which wing ?
