The airlines do not consider CAI as Africa but as part of Europe and the Middle East. Thus, CAI-LHR involves only one continent, not two. (Scary that airlines are that poor in figuring out geography.

) CAI-LHR-JFK-HKG-LHR-CAI can be done on a three continent OWE.
