Got it working! My E585 with TIM is live.

Notes:

Needed € 15 on the card, so I bought a € 10 Ricari and then texted "RIC ######" to 40916 to get the credit on.

Activated "PRO INTERNET40" with the help of a nice TIM vendor.

Set my APN to ibox.Tim.it

It's fast. I get 40 hours for the month.
