I'm with you, wondering why I'm rarely targeted. Good credit, pay balances on time. I'm opted in for all marketing emails I'm aware of through my credit cards, banks, etc., and I even asked Amex once how I can help ripen my "target" potential, and rep said she wasn't sure because at some point it's really a demographics issue and out of customers' control. She got a laugh out of the question though. No laughing matter to me.
