Hi all

I am flying IAD-LHR next month for a short trip, and was planning to just take hand baggage. Is it possible to OLCI and go through security at Dulles without visiting the BA desk (conformance check or whatever the relevant term would be) in this case, or do I have to wait for the desks to open in order for them to check my passport, hand in I-94 docs etc?

I have no particular need to be there hugely early (before the desks open, which is 3 hours before the first flight?), save for the fact that I have a few vouchers for the UA RCC (that are going out of date) and was thinking about going to the BA gates via Terminal C/D so that I could take advantage of a few free libations.
