In another vein, does anyone think it would be possible to redeem on the IAD-MAD Aer Lingus route? I know this is a weird joint venture with UA, but it is operated by EI. Perhaps it is also possible to route IAD-MAD-DUB on EI as an award, though that gets into "zone" pricing issues. Same with IAD-MAD-(BA)-LHR. I'm curious if anyone has tried it, although I'm not sure if it would be of benefit to anyone outside the DC area...
