The Topguest website also explains that Topguest exists to reward you for "Sharing your location with friends." Hence, one can reasonably assume that creating a private Foursquare or Facebook account expressly for the purpose of checking in to get points would not be in keeping with our fair use policy.

To be even more clear, some examples of Topguest use that are not consistent with the spirit of our service include:
- "Drive by" check-ins
- "Walk by" check-ins
- Creating a private foursquare account with no friends, and privately checking into multiple Topguest partner properties each day

Many thanks!

Hi Topguest Lurker, welcome.

I am having my lunch break virtually every day at the same Best Western hotel restaurant because it's near my office. That is according to the "fair use", isn't it?

However, I opened an account for myself, a "private account" as you call it. Is this against the policy? Do I need to find "friends" now in order to be within the rules?
