All QF has announced is that 6x744ERs are being reconfigured, and the newest 3x744s (those delivered in 1999-2000); all the other 744s are being retired and not retrofitted. No statement of routes, but it will be all of the non-A380 routes being flown by 744

It looks like MEL-HKG becomes an A330 route next your, for example. The ERs are needed for SYD-DFW/JNB/SCL which only leaves SYD-BNE and 1 other route once the fleet is down to 9! Everything else will be A330 and eventualy B787.
