Same with my agent. He does most of the tickets without checking with any airline - and also uses the airline to issue tickets which pays the highest comission and is leats likely to come back with a disagreement of interpreting the rules. I bought many RTWs from him - as far as i know there was never a problem afterwards.

My recommendation is: for RTWs (especially when you plan to change the routing afterwards) find a good agent who knows the rules and does them on a regular basis. It makes life much easier.
