Just to clear matters up a bit here:

CX pays Zero commission to US agents on RTW's

QF pays 5% commission for time being.

The trend is to NOT pay commissions on RTW fares.

Based upon experiences with carriers such as BA and AA and their inability to interpret their own rules correctly, it is advisable to go to a GOOD travel agent and pay whatever fee they charge to get the transaction done properly.
