I agree that fewer hotels do such a thorough cleaning than do. Really good to hear about LQ. I am pretty allergic to cats and somewhat allergic to dogs that shed. I will continue to frequent LQ with or without my dog. They've always been good to me.

I think I mentioned in another thread where you also posted that I lived at one for 2 weeks during construction on my home and by day 3, they knew Charlie by name and had a biscuit for him. The very first day, Charlie did a Houdini when I was trying to get the suitcase into the room and the manager caught him down the hall! He then had to let me back into the room that I locked chasing after Charlie!
