In such happenings on several occasions GA's or FA's have flagged me for having more than 2 pieces, when it is explained (last flight cancelled, so have a 40 minute connection that I am trying to make (and show them the BP) they are always understanding. When I have been flagged on the second (or third leg) as long as it is the last one, I will explain and say, "of course you can check these now, as they should make it", generally they do not. Now what I do not get why this is anyone's business.............yes I understand that some of you regularly have one leg trips, or fly in the back, or in very small aircraft, but stuff happens and again, I repeat that it is good that ana irline has flexibility like this to deal with extraordinary situations. Having had similar situations on certain foreign carriers that have insisted that I check my second bag on a very tight connection, and not getting my bag for 2-3 days I especially appreciate it.
