Last March when my son and I travelled WT YYZ-LHR-DUB, I printed my boarding pass off at home. Checked in online etc... all was well at YYZ until we reached LHR and I was scolded by the employee at the Aer Lingus desk (ba operated by aer lingus flight) that they should have gave me my boarding pass in YYZ. Am doing the same itinerary this upcoming March 2012. Am I supposed to get the Aer lingus Boarding pass issued to me in Toronto? On line check in for the BA, LHR to DUB (operated by Aer lingus) is not available. With this itinerary I have allowed us more lay over time in LHR...as we almost missed the flight.
