BA LDN quoted the UK rate converted to EGP & AA LDN told me that they would do the same.

BA CAI told me that the fare was the listed one but with the tax it added 20%

In the end ran out time to sort resolve this before having to leave the UK on business, so will have to look at it again for later in the summer.

Thing is, by having time to replan I've been able to add more miles and have more non-flying time so all is not lost
