I wish.

I am always short of getting emerald, but that dosen't really matter as I pay for F.

I used to do the CX/UA RTW fare ex-Canada and it consisted of very simple routings that didn't give me very much Oneworld miles (partly due to "orphan" miles on my UA account don't give me any status on UA).

About a year ago, when the CX/UA RTW fare raised to the same fare level as the "Oneworld Explorer 3 Continent" fare, I figured that I would be better off doing this instead.

Most of my BA flights get credited to my Alaska Airlines account (so I can have some miles for mileage upgrades awards to use on my "limited and occasional" North American flights, as I don't fly AS enough to get MVP Gold Status) mostly do to the fact that I don't get any miles for the transatlantic BA flights if I credit them to my AAdvantage account.

Sometimes I try to evaluate ALTERNATIVES to RTW fares in case I might want to "run away", or have an emergancy in which I need to travel (price not important) in short notice, or in case the airlines decide to pull or increase the RTW fares. (ie. book "F" fares etc.)
