KL 663 AMS-IAH Lv1435 Arr1820 Boeing 737-700BBJ HB-JJA

Amsterdam Airport
Schiphol Airport is a pretty large airport and is well maintained and in some sense, it is like a giant shopping mall with airline functions including. Not many pictures, since many of you have traveled in and out of AMS and are pros. However, I finally had the time to visit the observation deck and was not disappointed. The observation deck spread across all the major piers and of course KLM blue planes are all over the place, with many Delta planes in between. It was noon and peak hours for transatlantic flights. I have also noticed a huge amount of MD-11s and KLM was one the last major passenger operator of these tri-jets. I also spotted Martinair’s 50th anniversary retro livery Boeing 767-300ER, and had the chance to see Privatair’s HB-JJA towing to gate D3. There was no service on Wednesdays, so the plane got a day of rest in AMS.
