It is silly really, but it is nice to baord a plane and hear "Welcome back, Mr Soandso, it's good to see you again". It shows the crew are making an effort and value your repeat custom. So I was pleased to hear this for the first time on a GLA - LHR flight a couple months ago. Good effort!
