Not. It is allowed as the second transit without stopover in Asia (needed if you have already visited Asia, otherwise you wouldn't be able to reach Australia on some routings). You must have an Asian continent in your xONEn fare (so xONE4 is the minimum if you fly LHR-SYD). Since you've bought asia, might as well use your 4 flight segments there. There is no way around this, sorry.
