7A should be good. You're right to avoid 1D - it has the bathroom on one side and a wardrobe on the other.

I've not been on the upper deck since it went to the half Y configuration. If there is anything available in the nose I'd probably go for that.

I guess you must be on the VS046 on the return which is a Good Night Flight (like a BA sleeper service). I *think* the upper deck is the snooze zone although this may have changed since the new config was installed. If it is the lights will be switched off soon after take-off and the assumption will be that you are intending to go straight to sleep rather than eat first.

If you do want to eat there will be a choice of either a cold tray or an abbreviated dinner service. At the moment I think the cold tray involves some kind of chicken dish and salad. The dinner service has a choice of onion tart and something I can't remember.

There's also a cheeseboard and cheesecake at the moment.

If you have the time eat in the Clubhouse before departure and maybe just opt for hot chocolate or a nightcap on board and the crew will offer to make up your bed.
