Donations are always great but if you want an easy way to keep your miles active, I have used "Opinion Survey" which gives you 75 AA miles for taking a survey that will take you about 10 minutes to compete. I use this to keep my kid's accounts active. I have done this 3 or 4 times and it has always worked for me....about a week later you will notice 75 miles added to your AA account and will thus be good for another 18 months.
