We have had good success in the past securing JJ flights as part of an Aeroplan award itinerary.
But I agree that the availability ranges between slim and nonexistent when searching now.
Perhaps TAM is hedging on releasing award seats to *A partners and waiting to see how the planned merger with LAN plays out. Or perhaps their planes are flying full and there simply aren't any award seats left ?
