i think your itin is not valid.

as thadocta was said, you had 2 int'l departure form the country of origin

note the intl dept only applies to the country of origin. for all other countries you can depart many times

(syd(or mel?)-lax is both int'l and inter-cont)

your alternatives are:
1. Oz-chc-akl-hkg------RTW---OZ
(or the reverse)
2. buy a RT to NZ and start your RTW there
