OLCI for non-US residents on flights to the US

Just did OLCI for my flight to JFK this weekend, and on the traveler information page, there was a section titled "For US residents only". I am not a US resident, but the system insisted that I fill in that section, so I just selected "Alien Card" under document type, and filled in my passport information again, which worked. Any ideas? I suspect it might be because my mailing address in the MPC database is in the US, so it believes that I am a US resident?

EDIT: this is the first time this happened to me, so something with US immigration laws may have changed? I don't recall having to provide this information on my last CX flight to the US back in January.
