I flew on a CRA from YOW > YFB return last month. No ovens as other folks have confirmed but I was really, really impressed with the cold dishes.
On the way up (~10 AM departure) we had a "brunch" tray which consisted of fruit, banana bread, yogurt, and a turkey/cheese croissant sandwich (with cucumber, tomato, lettuce, and a packet of mustard).
On the way down (~2 PM departure) we had a "lunch" tray which had fruit, bread/butter, some sort of desert (can't remember what), and TWO choices of mains: an awesome salmon filet on top of a pasta salad (peas, dill, etc.) or a chicken breast on a bed of spinach.
I actually preferred the cold dishes above to the new hot meals from the June menu refresh.
Therefore, I'd upgrade
