It's worth a shot, but I have never been able to get that system to work and have always ended up having to call. If DL.com doesn't give you free options for the change, be sure to call reservations.
And some people have had entire reservations (usually award) mysteriously cancelled just because they clicked that little change flights button. Seems best to avoid it like the plague and call.
