Flying Blue miles on JAL
Hi,
I live in Japan and fly between London and Tokyo on AF via CDG a few times a year which earns me ~12,000miles return.
The AF website says that a flight on a partner airline from Japan to South Korea costs 30,000miles (3 return trips to London) but it looks like I can earn miles on Japan Airlines when I fly with AF and pay JAL 15,000 miles to get to Korea (1 return trip to London and a few domestic flights in Japan).
Am I right in thinking I should fly AF, but be a member of the JAL mileage club?
(I did a search of this forum, and all the information I could find was that AF miles can be allocated to a JAL account at 70%, unless the flight is to/from Japan)
