Yes, most of Asian companies are still adopting "weight concept" except for flying between the US and somewhere, and usually max weight is 20kg for Y class, but no limitation of pieces. KE, CZ, MU, VN, and future Skyteam members CI & GA are all weight concept companies at the moment.
