Just had a flight in an A330 and when I tried to plug in the power to the AC socket for my macbook air, it wouldn't supply power to my laptop. The light on the socket would sometimes turn off, and the light on the power connector next to the laptop never turned on.

Anyone else had this problem with macbooks, and any tips on how to get it to work?

The socket would power my iPhone incidentally.
