What happens if the bump one of the other 200+ passengers on that flight, or if they call for volunteers and those 4 or 5 people that volunteer will bring the flight within the capacity range. If you don't check-in, I am not sure if you can officially get "bumped" and collect $$$ -- maybe someone here on FT would know better.
