I believe that you can get 32 segments for a non-handwritten ticket. I had a 21 seqment hand written ticket that had to be revised. The CTO in DC used a 'conjuntive(?)' ticket procedure. The first 16 segments were printed together, followed by all the remaining segments. I assume that the second packet can be up to 16 segments, so that you have 2 conjuntive tickets with 16 segments each.
