I think I know what the answer to this question should be, but I can't seem to find a definitive answer. I'm trying to book tickets for my family to fly ANC-DCA in May for my college graduation, and would love to put them in F. DL is substantially cheaper than AS (25k Y/50k F vs. 40k Y/100k F!), but there is apparently only one F seat available on an acceptable itin. There are at least 3 Y seats available.

If I book one F seat and 1-2 Y seats now, would I have to pay the $75 change fee later if more F becomes available, or just the extra miles?
