Have they fixed the problem that the Passats had with the placement of the gas pedal behind the center console? I sometimes have to drive my parents' 2009, and while it's a great little car, I can't get a straight line between my hip and the gas pedal without my shin spending the entire time pressed along the center console at about a 5 degree angle.
