So what does this really mean?
Can I still buy a ticket originating in New Zealand using the NZ$ fare converted to C$, if I buy it from a Canadian TA? Why wouldn't the AA RTW desk still be able to book the trip? Given the Sabre record locator, a Canadian TA (or even AA in Canada) should be able to issue the ticket.
Or do I have this all wrong?</font>
Why not collect the ticket at the airport in NZ? In SWP there is no pre-purchase requirement for most OWE fares. On several occasions I have had the ticket issues the day of travel and collected it from the airport ticket counter in Australia.
Of course, you have to get yourself to NZ of Australia to begin the journey, but that is what FF miles are for, isn't it?
