I wonder if they thought about this 6 months ago when the price changes for Africa went into effect. Basically, in two moves they just bid out anything being sold from there. I cant see anyone in ZA going with the OWE instead of the Star Alliance. The Oneworld Asian network is weak and it is $2500 more for a first class ticket. The only reason would be if someone wants to go to Oz, but the prices there are so cheap for the main destinations that it isnt even a big deal, imo. It really is too bad in the long run.
